Meets are only open to all club members. Leeds DA runs meets on most weekends from February through to November. These meets provide a cheap and basic form of camping. Your own sanitation is usually an essential item. A water point for drinking water and a waste / elsan disposal point being the only facilities on most sites. At some of our meets you will find entertainment and social gatherings including suppers, communal barbecues and fun events.
Other meets will be simple, quiet meets held in places not usually open to camping. All weekend meets open at 4pm unless by prior arrangement with the steward or sites officer (See Out & About for contact details). Please check before camping; if you arrive early, you may find the gate locked!! Weekend meets are run by voluntary stewards, without whom the meets could not take place. If you can assist with this vital role, please let us know.
How does it work?
Every 3m square in the world has a unique 3 word address that will never change. This makes it a fantastic way for us to show you where our meets are as postcodes are rarely much use when your trying to locate a field in the countryside. We have tried to be as accurate as possible and the what3words locations will show you the entrance to or the exact area the meet will be.
You can visit what3words.com and type the 3 words in or download the app on Android or Apple devices.
