POP UP SITES
A Pop up site will normally take place over a weekend, but can last for up to five nights, we run pop up sites throughout the year, usually starting in January or February and running into November and December.
All sites have basic facilities of fresh water and somewhere for waste disposal, others will have additional facilities such as toilets, showers and electrical hook ups.
Members can stay for a night or the entire duration, and all fees paid go back into the club to ensure that we can continue to offer future events for members.
Many sites offer entertainment or are organised with a particular theme, however other sites sole purpose is to enjoy the peace and quiet in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Stewarded by experienced members who are always at hand to help with the friendly approach our Club is famous for.
Pop up sites are only available to our members, so you can guarantee a ‘Friendly Club’ welcome, while being surrounded by like-minded campers who take the same pleasures from camping and caravanning that you do.
All Pop up sites open at 4pm unless by prior arrangement with the steward or sites officer. Sometimes a steward may open the site earlier if they are ready, those announcements will be posted in our Facebook group so do make sure you join. If you arrive early without checking, you may find the gate locked!!
Pop up sites are run by voluntary members, without whom the meets could not take place. If you can assist with this vital role, please let us know. Stewards also receive FREE camping.
GROUP BOOKINGS & PITCHING WITH FRIENDS
Currently we don't offer group bookings for our sites, but that doesn't mean you can't camp with your friends. We ask that wherever possible you arrive at the same time as the people you wish to camp with. So long as the site can accommodate, you should be able to pitch together.
If you can't arrive together please speak to the steward on arrival, they will do their very best to accommodate you. Under normal circumstances there shouldn't be any issues with saving a pitch, but we can't guarantee it.
BOOKING IS HIGHLY ADVISABLE ON ALL SITES
Due to the current restrictions with overseas travel we expect our sites to be extremely popular and
are urging everyone to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
If you can't book for any reason, you can wait for the site to open and phone the steward on the day you plan to arrive. They will be able to advise you if there is availability. Please be aware they may not be able to advise you on availability multiple days in advance so our advice is to plan early and book online to guarantee your pitch. Its really simple with our online booking system, pay via PayPal.
The stewards telephone number(s) are in the site descriptions. Only call the number when the site is open. Please be aware that on longer meets there may be different stewards depending on the date. Please make sure you double check before calling.

POP UP SITES WILL ONLY OPEN FOR BOOKING 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SITE OPENING.
